Built because the tool didn't exist.

Georender was born out of frustration. While building an automated YouTube channel covering maritime shipping, we needed animated map videos — shipping routes, chokepoint zooms, trade lane overlays. These visuals are the signature of the genre.

We looked for an API that could take coordinates and return a video. It didn't exist. The only options were Fiverr editors ($75–150/video, 3-day turnaround), tools without APIs, or building the entire rendering pipeline from scratch.
