Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Georender API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Georender provides a REST API that generates animated map videos from geographic coordinates. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes or to violate any laws
• Share API keys or resell access without authorization
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Generate content that infringes on third-party intellectual property
• Use the Service to create misleading or deceptive content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

5. Content and Licensing

Your Content: You retain ownership of coordinate data and configurations you submit. You grant us a license to process this data to provide the Service.

Output Videos: Videos generated through the Service are yours to use according to your subscription tier:

• Free: Personal use only, watermarked
• Creator: Commercial use including monetized YouTube, no watermark
• Studio: Commercial use including broadcast and distribution rights

6. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Unused renders do not roll over between billing periods.

7. Rate Limits and Fair Use

Each subscription tier has defined render limits and API rate limits. Exceeding these limits may result in throttling, additional charges, or account suspension.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEORENDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your API access will be revoked.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Georender operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
